Welcome to outsider techno: Chuck Prudence is a clubber but he grew up with rock'n'roll and punk. When he came to Paris he discovered the hypnotic joy of dancing all night long to minimal techno, and wanted to push the polymer himself. He started in vernissages (like pimp my vinyl) providing deep grooves for his friends exhibitions and naturally carried on to later parts of the nights, bringing everybody swinging along. After scouting the world for the best records to feed his beloved turntables, he moved to Berlin for a couple of years where he played in many clubs (like the tresor) and now lives in Toulouse, working on his own productions. His sound is not mainstream but his sharp taste and a fondness for long, genre-crossing sets make for nights to remember.
